Digital Time Base Corrector

A digital time base corrector which worked with Hi and Lo band VTRs to convert playback signals into broadcast standard. It interfaced via the DUB (Y/C) connector, employed 8-bit Analogue to digital conversion and was capable of correcting up to 3.5 horizontal lines.

A Y/C control on the front panel allowed a continuously variable compensation. Perfect drop out compensation was available by replacement of missing segments by data from previous line. Chroma noise reduction was implemented by line averaging.
